New York – Constuction Inspection
This estimated $1.03 billion state-of-good-repair and improvement project will replace the bridge’s 592 suspender ropes, rehabilitate all of the span’s main cables, replace the north and south sidewalks, and provide enhanced pedestrian and bicycle access ramps at the world’s busiest vehicular crossing. VN providing estimating, construction engineering and inspection services.
Connecticut – Design Services
This project consist of the Rehabilitation of Bridge No. 00980B I-84 TR 826 (Yankee Expressway) East bound exit ramp to North I-91, for a length of approximately 0.09 miles. VN Engineers was responsible for the ramp alignment, the development of MPT plans for the contractor access to the bridge from Leibert Rd. through Riverside Park and details for the reconstruction and widening of a 325 ft. long section of the existing paved path. VN was also responsible for the creation of Environmental Permit Plans and the specifications related to the project.
Florida – Design Services
This project entails the design services for widening SR-80 to accommodate additional right and left turn lanes, widening in of SR-7 to accommodate additional turn lanes, and the widening of bridges over C-51 canal. VN provided design support services plans, specifications, supporting engineering analysis, calculations, and other technical documents in accordance with FDOT policy, procedures and requirements.
